3rd one's a CHARM!

Here's #3 in my Upcoming Sartia 4 Layout Workshop! :)

Isn't this little Sweetpea the cutest?! This is my childhood best friend's daughter Crosslyn Raye. :)

This workshop will be featuring the Small Flip Assortment! My favorite part about this layout is that it holds 13 Photos! WHOOT! Each of the 3X3 photos wells are using a 3X3 flip flap, which means you can 'house' a photo on the backside of the one shown as well as another underneath the 'flap'.  If you'd rather, either space can be used as journaling area instead of additional photos. :)

I am SO EXCITED about this workshop! I've been working on the cutting diagram for what seems like FOREVER! It is coming along well juts taking a while.  I can't wait to offer it to you!

Did you miss my previous posts on the other two layouts featured in this workshop?

I LOVE THEM! I'll share the 4th Layout soon! It is Darling!

Thanks for joining me for a short post!
Blessings Friends!

Annnnnnnd Another one....

Another layout that is! Yesterday I shared one of the layouts I created for my (4) Layout Sarita WOTG Workshop....Here's another one. :)

I am SO DISAPPOINTED with my photos (again)....they are so drab! They do not do this paper justice! It is CRAZY BRIGHT!

In all (4) of my layouts for this workshop the PINK can easily be substituted!

Don't let the Baby Pictures fool you! This paper is the furthest from baby you will find...it just happened to work with with the pictures I had just received from my friend. :)

And of Course.....my Favorite part once again...Flip Flaps! :) This Layout holds 15 Photos! :)

I'm working tirelessly on getting my cutting guide completed for these pages! Stay tuned to see the remaining 2 sets. :)

Thank you again for joining me!
Your are such a Blessing! Sus

Along with my other projects going on right now I've been working like crazy on my next big Workshop project....(4) Layouts using the Sarita Workshop on the Go Kit and one of my favorite products...Flip Flaps! I'm sharing one of those layouts with you today! The rest are on their way! :)

As you, most likely already know, the Sarita Workshop on the Go Kit comes with the Sarita Level 2 Paper Pack, 3 extra sheets of cardstock, the Sarita Embellishment Assortment, Natural Hemp, and the exclusive Stamp Set (which happens to be my favorite set at the moment).

I have added in a few extra sheets of Colonial White Cardstock, the Small Flip Flap assortment, and the tiny type Epoxy Alphabet to create this Darling Workshop!

One of my favorite parts of this layout (other than my Sweet Niece) is that is holds up to 16 Photos! YES, 16!

The Flip Flaps are basically clear 'flaps' that adhere directly to your layout or on top of your page protector....each 'flap' Houses a photo on the top, then on the backside of the flap, and then underneath the 'flap'...so with each single flip flap you can house (3) photos or have space for hidden journaling or memorabilia. I am waiting for my sister to edit a few more pictures of my niece and will then fill all of my spaces! :)

I can't wait to share with you the remaining (3) Layouts...I'm knee deep in cutting guides for this workshop and am so excited to be able to offer it to you soon! :)

Thank you for joining me today!

I just LOVE how this card turned out....It's so eclectic Looking...a little bit of this, little bit of that! :)

I used the Card Pattern #20 from the Make it From Your Heart 'How-to' Book....Easy as can be! No wasted paper whatsoever! Whoot!

And of course, gotta have a little 'somethin' somethin'' on the inside to match! :)

I used some of my Favorite Embellishments for this card!! Teal Base & Bling Assortment, Sartia Embellishment Assortment, and the Base & Bling Metal Flowers! (Especially love these)

See, a little bit of this and a little bit of that add up to make a powerful punch to your paper crafting! :)

So, you thought it was a Christmas stamp....?

So, you thought the October Stamp of the Month was a Christmas Stamp..? Fooled you, huh? Fooled me too!  (BIG SMILE) It fooled me until I came across this DARLING card! The original was inspired......okay, practically copied EVERYTHING!...by fellow consultant, Dana Kessler! :)

Is sure doesn't look Christmasy to me! :)  I adored this card when I first saw it and now even more so that I have it sitting on my desk at work....just plain ole BRIGHT & CHEERFUL!

Of course you'll notice the Cricut Artbooking image, as well as a hint from Artiste! I never get tired of using all of those cartridge images! :) :) With 700 Images on each cartridge it's my PLEASURE knowing that each single image costs me only .14! WHOOT! Blows a Punch right out of the water!! :)

Have you got your hands on the Scandinavian Wishes Stamp set? Remember, it's ONLY available throughout the Month of October...and you can get it for a discounted price of only $5! Now, who's being THRIFTY?! :)

Now that I've created something Non-Christmasy with this Christmas themed stamp set I'm moving onto another project using it! I can't wait! If you don't already have your set why don't you get it ordered and we can play along together! :)

Supplies Used

I'm so Glad you joined me today...just a short and sweet post today but I'm so Glad to have each of you!

Creativity with a SPIN!

Okay, So...I told you I was falling in love with this stamp set yesterday! Just see how Stinkin' Cute it is?! and only $5!? Whoot!!

Okay, so I get a little excited....what can I say?! :) I am anxiously awaiting  my order from our new Holiday Gift Guide so I grabbed for our Holiday papers from last year, Pear & Partridge for this card!

I have actually made 3 cards using this stamp set along with the P&P paper kit...I actually used inspiration from the Laughing Lola Cardmaking Workshop on the Go for the patterns! The other two will be shared soon!

I adjusted the middle piece and added my very own SPIN element! Did you see the Spin Card I posted yesterday HERE?

Well....I had planned on creating something similar using the ornament but it was a smidge too big for the opening...So I needed to Improvise!

I cut one of the rectangular frames from my Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge and used the inside of the frame as my "window"...I traced it, cut it out with an exact-o knife and my window was created!

Then I placed some adhesive on the top and bottom edges of my window and added my ornament with the string.  The adhesive held the string and I covered it with my patterned paper, then I adhered the frame on top of the "less than perfect" window cutting job....so you NEVER see my mangled cutting! :) I am planning on making a tutorial for this soon so hang with me. :)

As you can see I added the same frame to the inside to cover my ugly-ish window cutting....KA-CUUUTE, huh? :)

I am seriously LOVING this stamp set and I've only just begun! Tune in this entire month to see art using this fabulous set!

Now, If you'd like to own your own set of Scandinavian Wishes it can be yours for only $5!

Each month Close to My Heart offers a full sized (the carrier sheet is 6" X 6") stamp set EXCLUSIVELY available throughout that month only! Lovin' me some Scandinavian Wishes!

Isn't it Great how First Impressions aren't always correct? I think I'm repeating myself from yesterday, maybe I need to just learn to be a little more patient!

I'm introducing you to the October Stamp of the Month 'Scandinavian Wishes' :)  It was the furthest thing from my taste but as I began playing with it I just fell in love!

I am totally In Love with Close to My Heart's Circle Spin Cards! They are BEYOND Cool! I covered my spinner circle with the same scalloped square (only .25" larger) that fit the flourished stamped frame from the set! I masked out the "To" & "From" and then stamped my sentiment inside...it fit PERFECTLY!

Four of the stamp images in this set coordinate with our Art Philosophy Cricut Collection! Did you know that ANY stamp image in our idea books that have a red outline around them  match one of our EXCLUSIVE Cricut Cartridges?

Did you ALSO know that even though any Cricut Coordinating stamp set - whether listed in the Idea book or not - Is NOT retired?! YES! That's right! At this time Close to My Heart is still offering any of the Cricut Coordinating Stamp sets for sale even though they are not in a current Idea Book! So, that Stamp set you adore from Spring 2012 but didn't order it before it stopped showing up in our Idea books...if it is Cricut Compatible then you will find it listed on my Website for purchase! :)

I really love the Non Traditional "Red" & "Green" in this card! I used B&T (Background & Texture Paper) from the Kits; Laughing Lola, Frosted, and my dear friend Chantilly! Toss in some Black Glitter Paper & Adhesive Backed Black Shimmer Trim and PRESTO! Ka-CUUUTE!

This card is SO Sparkly in person, my photo taking skills (nor my camera) have ever been "something to sing about" LOL!

And in true 'Studio Sus' Form I couldn't leave the inside Blank.....:)

If you'd like to get your hands on this Darling Stamp set, it's EASY! Place an order on my Shopping Website of $50 and you can buy this stamp set for only $5! (a savings of $12.95)

I am also allowing the Stamp of the Month purchasing requirements to overlap with my CRUSH CARD COLLECTION Workshop requirements (READ ABOUT IT HERE)...now that's some SERIOUS BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! :)

Thanks for stoppin' in Girls! I'm SO appreciative you joined me!
Blessings, Sus

I was Crushed....

Yes, as I've mentioned before in THIS POST I was Totally Crushed with the Announcement of Close to My Heart's 'My Crush' Product Line.  You see, I was burdened with hearing others say "That's not REAL Scrapbooking" or "I'll NEVER use THAT kind of book"....it really had me discouraged!

Reluctantly, I needed to bump up one of my orders and the Crush line was really the only thing I had not purchased yet....so I added them.  I can not even explain how EXCITED  I felt when I took the plastic off my Modville Crush Book....Oh my Word! It was STUNNING! Just Stunning! Girls, these are some of Close to My Heart's Best - Most Beautifully designed papers EVER! Isn't it wonderful when First Impressions aren't correct?! LOVE IT!!!!!

Still....I was so unfamiliar with 'this' kind of memory keeping...I was overwhelmed to say the least.  I put my thinking cap on....what WAS I good at? How COULD I make these work for me, AND my customers? The pages were a bit too small for traditional 12X12 layouts (although I do think it could work and I plan to try it with my BlueBird Crush Book soon)....Cards! Cards I'm good at! Let's Cut this puppy up!!

And, so...the  'My Crush' Card Collection was born! I began cutting and embellishing and the most ADORABLE (and super trendy) cards were born!

Then I thought, why not make this into a workshop for my customers?! Now, I had NO idea the undertaking creating a cutting guide really was! WOW! Many Headaches and Tears but the kinks have been worked out (after the testing by some very Darling Guinea Pigs)and It's ready to begin flying out the door!

This workshop uses 16 of the 30 pages in the 'My Crush' Book.  Of those 16 pages I created 15 unique cards with FULLY Decorated insides! So....(thrifty mindset) if you decided not to decorate the insides you could easily create 30 CARDS only using the 16 pages! But wait...you still have 14 pages LEFT IN THE BOOK! See where this is going? See what an INCREDIBLE value this can be for you! And what Fun!

How can YOU get your hands on all of my paperwork to create your own Crush Cards? So Simple! Place a $20 order (**Price Lowered Dec 5, 2013**)  on my Close to My Heart Website (by bumping up to $50 you can STILL get ahold of the Traditional Stamp of the Month promotion) and upon request I will gladly email you the cutting guide and the photos of the completed cards to assist you with assembly.  I have worked many many hours on this project and I do hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!
